What is getting in your way?

Choose a topic or search these FAQs. These general checks help you describe the problem, without scanning your device or changing its settings.

My computer will not connect to Wi-Fi.
  1. Check whether another device can use the same Wi-Fi network. This helps separate a computer issue from a connection issue.
  2. Confirm Wi-Fi is on and airplane mode is off. Select your own network and check the signal.
  3. Save open work and restart the computer. If all devices are offline, check your internet provider for an outage before changing equipment settings.

Avoid resetting your router to factory settings. That can remove settings your household needs.

My computer is running slowly.
  1. Save your work and close applications or browser tabs you no longer need.
  2. Restart the computer and check whether the problem affects one application or everything.
  3. Note when the slowdown started and any recent software or device changes. Share that information when requesting help.

Do not install a cleaner or driver updater from an unexpected pop-up.

I cannot sign in to my email.
  1. Open your email provider using a bookmark or an address you already trust.
  2. Check the exact error message and whether you can reach other websites.
  3. Use the provider’s account recovery option if needed. Keep verification codes private and use them only in the recovery process you started.

Rebnetik does not need your email password or verification code in a chat message.

My printer is offline or will not print.
  1. Check that the printer is powered on and has no paper or ink warning.
  2. Confirm the computer and wireless printer are on the intended network, or check the USB cable.
  3. Check the selected printer and print queue. Save your work before restarting the computer or printer.

Record any displayed error code before clearing it or requesting help.

A pop-up says my computer is infected.
  1. Do not call the number, pay a fee, or install software offered by the pop-up.
  2. Close the affected browser tab if possible. Do not interact with links or download prompts in the warning.
  3. If you have already allowed remote access or shared payment information, stop the session and contact a trusted technician. Contact your bank directly if payment details were shared.

A warning on a webpage is not proof that the computer has been scanned.

My computer will not turn on.
  1. Check the power cable, charger connection, and wall outlet without opening the computer.
  2. Note any lights, sounds, or messages and whether the charger appears damaged.
  3. If the computer still will not start, describe those symptoms when requesting assistance. A powered-off computer cannot receive remote support.

Stop using equipment with damaged cables, liquid exposure, unusual heat, smoke, or a burning smell. Arrange appropriate hands-on help.

Prepare for remote assistance

Your computer. Your permission.

A technician can help review a supported computer remotely when access is possible and you agree to the session.

Before contacting us

  • Note your device type and the exact problem or error.
  • Check that the computer powers on and can connect to the internet.
  • Save open work and close private documents before a session.
  • Have the person who can authorize access available.

Before installing a remote tool

Confirm your request with Rebnetik first. Your technician will explain the approved tool, the access it allows, and how the agreed session will work.

Install only the tool supplied for your confirmed support request. Do not install remote-access software because an unsolicited caller or pop-up asks you to.

No download or installation is needed to browse these troubleshooting topics.
